I feel for you, I really do. I have been there! The only thing that is truly going to work is to stop nursing completely...cold turkey. Give her a few days warning and let her know that when she cries, you'll rub her back, but that there will be no more nursing. It will be 3 days of hell and NOBODY will get any sleep for those days. 2 1/2 year old not talking?

My son will be 3 in 5 months and still isn't talking much. He is very intelligent and doesn't show any delay in anything else. 14 month old son's development?

I'd give it a bit more time - if you're in to your doctor at 15 months and he still hasn't said his first word at all then bring it up and ask for an assessment. It could be nothing, or it could be some sort of delay. Our doctor was a bit concerned at our 12 month checkup and referred us at the 15 month checkup when our daughter hadn't said her first word. With language development it is best to intervene earlier rather than later so I wouldn't let it go too much longer before you get assessed, just to be on the safe side.

Funny and scary dream! What does it mean?

Ok so I had this really wierd and very real dream where I was being chased by the cops and I was driving a car. Then I was at some football stadium where about 50 little kids were playing hopscotch and jump rope. Everyone in the stands was spongebob except for me! How to survive FRESHMAN year?

Being nervous is a normal thing. Everyone has the first day jitters. As far as pressure goes you are more than likely going to experience some sort of peer pressure from friends or people in higher grades throughout your highschool days. If you are completely against something don't be afraid to say no. If they are your friends they will get over it. School work isn't that much tougher (wasn't for me anyways). Just enjoy it while it last, time goes by really fast and you will be graduating in no time.

I'll just give the synopsis. I'll try to make it brief. So it's about this nerdy guy who is madly love with the head cheerleader at his high school set in the year 2511. He knows he has no shot with a girl like her but he feels like he at least has to go for it. So he finally musters up the courage to ask her out and she says I WOULDN'T DATE YOU IF YOU WERE THE LAST GUY ON EARTH!! He is humiliated, so much so that he drops out of school and runs away hides from the world. He settles himself in the heart of the amazon rain forest where after several years he goes insane and begins experimenting with gene splicing so that he can create the first giant spider-octopus hybrid that spews gamma radiation from it's tentacles. He trains these creatures to wipe out every guy on earth besides himself of course. He successfully does so after an intense battle and finds his true love, but it turns out shes a lesbo. So wacks the ***** he just ***** a bunch of sluts and repopulates the Earth, but then an asteroid comes out of nowhere and the Earth is completely destroyed. But it turns out it was all an hallucination from a coma cause it turns out the girl had a boyfriend and he beat the **** out of him after he asked out the girl. So he goes back to school and lives for another 17 years as a tax attorney in a life of solitude and dies when he falls down a chimney into a heating boiler. He mistook a chimney for a balcony.

When did your baby start using their hands?

My son is 5 months & he won't use his hands. He chews on them, his reflexes are good (he grips anything held to his fingers), & he plays with them by clasping them or grabbing his toes. But, he won't hold a toy, I have to hold it for him. He can hold it if I give it to him & will hold onto it, but he won't do it by himself. Sometimes, he won't even take the toy; I have to hold it & play with it while he watches or he screams. He won't try to hold his bottle & he doesn't reach for anything. He can roll over, he can almost sit up by himself, he pulls up to stand, & he's babbling with consonants so it's weird when I see babies younger than him playing with toys & reaching for mommy. I can understand not holding his bottle since he only has maybe 4 a week. Did anybody else's child do things like this? I'm not worried, just wondering if this is normal.

My best friend has a "boyfriend", that I would classify more as an on and off again f*ck buddy. As far as the pet, i like the moonkin, but i think im biased due to druid being my first toon. the Panda would be cool too I think...

How do I make my new rabbit feel comfortable?

Make sure she's in a quiet room with just you, set up the room to make it "Rabbit Friendly", make sure she can't hide anywhere or choke on something. Let her explore her surroundings, for a few minutes a day, and add on to the time you allow her to explore everyday(only by a minute or two) Sit somewhere within her proximity, and hold a treat or something each time, eventually she will warm up to you and take it from you. She just needs some time. I recently got a hamster and he was extremely nervous, he's still rather jumpy. He has become more comfortable though. Just ease into it rather than force it.
