What do you think about this news reporter?

What do I think? I think it was a pathetic and unfunny comment which suggests that the reporter was an ignorant and unpleasant creep. I do think he should have been sacked, but I don't see what he said as "discriminating hate speech" so he shouldn't have got the fine. People need to be able to shrug off stupidity like that rather than screaming persecution all the time.
